A IR10AB remote control is required to set up the sensor in absence detection mode.

The sensor can also be used as a presence detector (remote control not required when using the detector in presence mode).

Optional sensitivity, time on and light level activation adjustments can be made using the remote control. Light level adjustment can be used if you are daylight harvesting and do not wish the sensor to become operational until the room is sufficiently dark enough to warrant the lights coming on.
